UMRI began with a personal challenge. When we, Kemi and Adeola, entered perimenopause, we experienced the unexpected ups and downs of ‘the pause’—a life stage often misunderstood, but one we knew had its own unique beauty.

Even with all the knowledge we had about the medicinal options (from our family of half a dozen medics and Adeola, herself a Doctor of Pharmacy), we were determined to find a holistic way to support our bodies. We didn’t see perimenopause as something that needed "fixing" - it’s a new chapter of life, one that deserves to be embraced and empowered.

We wanted a solution that would add to our health, vitality, and social wellbeing. So, we set out to find something holistic, high-quality, and easy to integrate into both our busy routines and our time spent with friends.
